Very fine Art Deco Black Onyx and Diamond filigree Ring
Lovely Art Deco ring. Hallmarked 18K with a makers mark that is mostly worn off. The filigree detail is lovely on both shoulders. Unlike many of these rings, this one has a good sized Diamond, .35 ct. The diamond is Old European cut, 0.35ct, KL color, VS2 clarity. The stone has a lot of sparkle. The black onyx stone is in very good condition with a few flea bites to the edges, not bad for age. The ring is just shy of size 5 1/2. The top measures 5/8″ X 3/8″, weight is 3.6grms. I would date this great ring at c1920′s.
