Stunning Victorian Diamond and Sapphire enamel ring
Incredible Victorian Sapphire and Diamond ring. This ring has a flower design with deep blue enamel shoulders and enamel around the flower edge. The flower actually has areas that flow up and down with ripples that give the stones such amazing sparkle. There are 19 diamonds and 6 deep blue Sapphires. The diamonds are old European cut stones. Everything about this ring screams handmade and custom made. As is usual the stones are set in silver and the rest of the ring is in gold. There are no hallmarks so I tested the gold with acids and it tested 15K gold. There is some loss to the deep blue enamel here and there. The ring measures 5/8″ across the top and is size 5 3/4, c1880′s-1890′s.
