Platinum Emerald and Diamond ring
Very fine natural Emerald and diamond ring. The ring is stamped Plat and Irid ( for Iridium )but this is very worn, so it is hardly readable. When tested the ring was 950 Platinum. The emerald cut Emerald is a bright green stone. All natural Emeralds have fine internal inclusions. There are 2 fancy baguette diamonds, one on each side of the Emerald. The Emerald measures 5mm X 7mm. The diamonds measure 5mm X 3mm. The Emerald is set in 14K yellow gold–tested by acids. The rest of the ring is 950 platinum. The ring is size 5, but could easily be re-sized by a good jeweler who works in platinum. Weight is 3.2grms. I would date this beautiful ring at c1950′s-70′s.
