14K Art Deco rose gold/ white/yellow gold Red glass ring–beautiful!
This ring is so pretty. Stamped 14K inside the band. It has white gold filigree and engraving down the shoulders and part-way down the band. There are rose gold flowers on 2 sides of the stone. The yellow gold composes the leaves that are on the sides of the flowers. The red stone is faceted glass. Glass was used extensively in the 1920′s. This red glass looks just like a synthetic Ruby. The top measures 5/8″ X 3/8″, ring size is 7. Weight is 3.2grms. Condition is excellent for age. No chips, cracks or damage to the metal or the stone. I would date this fine ring at c1920′s.
