» Lovely heart shaped sterling Unger brothers Art Nouveau locket

This is such a pretty necklace. The locket itself has a woman playing a lyre ( I think). The design has flowers in her hair, etc. The back is hand engraved with the letters C. R. Any good jeweler could put your initials in the back to replace these. Inside, there are no photos but the hallmarks in a circle, Sterling Fine 925, with the UB in the center. The locket snaps closed well. Measures 1 1/2″ X 1 1/2″. The chain is what came with the locket when I purchased it. It is a beautiful twisted fancy link chain. The chain measures 22″ long. With the locket the measurement is approx. 27″ long. Weight is 17.7 grms. I would date this lovely locket at c1910-18. Condition is very good. There is a tiny dent to her nose. I have not cleaned the piece so it has the original patina.
