Large Jade bead necklace
This is a stunning necklace. The rope chain has beads of carved bone and a blue/green/red stone, wooden beads and a barrel bead that is orange like Carnelian. I don’t know what the blue/green/red beads are. The piece of Jade is very large, measuring 2 1/2″ X 2″. It is natural untreated A Jade. There are flowers and what looks like a bee carved into the Jade. Could also be a stylized Butterfly. The Jade is an off white with streaks of apple green color. It is very beautiful. The brown rope chain can be adjusted longer or shorter. Current length is 34″. I don’t know age of this necklace but I would guess at c1960′s.
