» Art Nouveau silver Amethyst choker with large stones

Wonderful sterling Art Nouveau natural Amethyst choker necklace. This is such a rare piece. All the Amethysts are cabachon cut and point outward. They are large stones and there are 6 of them. The sterling work throughout the necklace depicts flowers and leaves. The necklace has a simple ring clasp. This is a heavy piece, weighing approx. 58 grms. Each Amethyst measures 15mm X 15mm and is 13mm in height. Length is 13″. Striking Art Nouveau choker, c1910-15. Hallmarked only sterling. The sterling is hollow. I wore this when I was a teenager in the 1960′s.
