» Weiss Bakelite rhinestone clamper w earrings

Great signed Weiss set. I tested the bangle with the 409 test and it was positive for Bakelite. The earrings that match are signed Weiss. The bracelet is not signed. The pieces are an off white, kind of Ivory color, with a little yellow in it. The rhinestones are aurora yellows, clears, and they have a tiny hint of blue in the aurora stones. Some of the photos show the stones to have purple tones and darker colors, but they are actually light aurora yellows. The clamper is a little over 3/4″ wide, and the inside diameter is 2 1/8″. I have an average 7 1/4″ wrist, and this bangle fits me fine, but is not moving on my wrist. The earrings are clips, and measure 1 1/8″ x 1 1/8″. No stones missing, it looks like one small clear rhinestone was replaced. The clip earrings snap tightly. I would date this great Weiss Bakelite set at c1930′s-40′s.
