Lovely Victorian pique earrings
Very pretty pique earrings. These earrings are round with flat backs. The ear-wires are newer. I tested the ear-wires with acids and they are gold filled. The gold pique work is lovely. There are what looks like a bees nest, many dots, and a scroll-like design as well. Condition is very good for age. Some scratches to the backs, minor crack, very minor loss of gold to the fronts. These measure 5/8″ round, and hang about 1″ from the ear. Great everyday earrings. Weight is 4.7 grms. I would date these antique earrings at c1860′s-80′s.
