» Lovely gold shell cameo earrings

These are such pretty earrings. They are made of conch shell with the women with flowers in their hair and what looks like either cultured pearls or shells around their necks. These are not hallmarked, but tested 14K with acids. These have older posts that screw on for added safety. They will not just pull off–you must screw them on and off. The cameos measure 5/8″ X 3/8″. There is a nice twisted gold wire around the frames. Weight is 2.0g. I would date these lovely earrings at c1920′s.
