» Schreiner New York Blue/Purple pin and earring set

Beautiful signed Schriener New York large pin and earring set. Very large inverted stones with the points to the front. So typical of this wonderful designer. The center stone is a rich royal purple and the other larger stones are a deep sapphire blue. The smaller marquise stones are magenta and sapphire blues, with medium rounds in purple, and small rounds in lavender. The metal is deep gunmetal color. The earrings have the large sapphire blue inverted stone with 2 magenta stones and one purple rhinestone. Only the pin is hallmarked. The pin measures 2″ and the earrings are 1″ clips. Condition is excellent. No damage to stones or metal. The pin can also be worn as a pendant. I would date this set at 1950′s-60′s.
