Lovely Wedgwood brooch with Angels
This is a pretty Wedgwood brooch set in silver. Hallmarked Wedgwood. The silver is not stamped but scratch tested. The brooch has a blue ground with 4 angels, a chariot, horns and lions . The scene is wonderful. There is a butterfly, flowers and a tree in the background. With a 10X loupe I can see one small chip on an edge leaf, one minor wrist hairline, and a few hairlines on the line under the design. Nothing affects the integrity of the piece. The brooch measures 2 3/4″ X 1 3/8″, c1910.
