» Amazing Art Nouveau gold Coral cameo brooch/pendant

This is one of the nicest Coral cameo Art Nouveau piece I have seen in a long time. The style of the frame is very Art Nouveau with swirls and flowers. The metal is stamped 14K. The bail for the pendant swivels, and the piece has an early 20th century safety clasp. The Coral cameo is a rich deep Coral color with a tiny bit of white Coral on the very top. Hard to see, but in the photos it looks like the Coral is broken, but its actually white Coral. The carving is of a lovely young woman with ringlets in her hair. The Cameo is also of high relief. The piece measures 1 1/2″ X 1 1/4″ without the bail. No damage that I can see. I would date this great Art Nouveau pin/pendant at c1900-1910.
