» Victorian Garnet bangle–beautiful

This is an authentic Victorian rose cut bohemian Garnet bangle. No repros here. The metal is called “Garnet Gold” which is actually 4K gold. There are 4 rows in the back of rich deep red Garnets that are smaller than the Garnets in the front. The back measures 3/8″ and the front measures 5/8″ wide. There is a very good repair on the inside that I have photographed for you to see. It does not detract from the beauty of this piece. There is an old safety chain. The bangle weighs 18.1g. Inside diameter is 2″. With a loupe I can see minor glue residue near one small Garnet. This Garnet was probably replaced. I would date this wonderful bangle at c1880′s-90′s.Product #5641
